Friends with acne —
Besides skincare products to help with acne, have you experimented with changing your diet too? i've heard some folks say they've cut out dairy, and other folks say they've cut out other foods. What diet has helped your skin looking clean and smooth?

I've found that avoiding fast food and overdoing it on fats/oils in general made acne worse. Also, cutting the amount of chocolate I wat helped.

Hey Harry! This is a great question and the short answer is, yes, diet can help your skin. The long answer is there are many factors that contribute to skin problems such as illness, environment, weather. genetics, allergies to ingredients you may be using in your everyday routines.
That said, definitely consult your doctor/derm to determine the best plan of action for you.
Generally, in diet, the best foods to add to your diet are: foods rich in imega-3 fatty acids like fish, avocados, nuts, seeds, lots of colorful fruits and veggies, probiotic rich food like kefir, yogurt, and kimchi, and last but certainly not least.... WATER. Drink lots of it.
But a diet rich with great skin nutrients also means elimination of some of the not so great foods such as refined carbs like white bread and pasta, high processed foods such as chips, fast food, and sugary snacks. If you're allergic to dairy, some may even experience flair ups which require them to either reduce or eliminate dairy in their diet.
I hope this helps!
