Question About a Product

I have a question about a product. How is Geologies co-wash different than 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner?

Hey there --

Great question. It's important to understand the function of these products:

Shampoo: It’s time to shampoo when you see and feel an oily buildup at the roots of your hair. Those with thin hair and an oily scalp may have to shampoo more often than those with thick and textured hair. Focus applying shampoo on the scalp to rid your scalp of buildup.

Conditioner: Conditioner should be used after every shampoo, focusing on the tips of your hair. Use only enough conditioner to coat the ends of your hair -- too much will cause buildup and too little will deprive your hair of hydration. Don’t forget to rinse thoroughly! Leaving any amount of product in your hair can stress your strands.

Co-Wash: On days you don’t shampoo, freshen your locks with a co-wash. Focus on scrubbing the scalp and working it down to the ends. For an extra boost of hydration, leave the co-wash on your hair for a minute or so before rinsing. Again, rinse thoroughly.
